travels

I was born in St. Louis, Missouri. With Dad's work as an inspector for the Federal Aviation Agency, the family moved to South Bend, Indiana, next, New Berlin, Wisconsin, and later, Ann Arbor, Michigan. The family farm has always been a focal point. It's in Minnesota on the border of South Dakota and North Dakota. We often traveled by car or train cross country to Mom's relatives in Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia. With high school buddies, my getaway was driving to Florida through Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Georgia. My senior year, I bought a Triumph motorcycle in London and toured through Belgium, Germany, Holland, Denmark, Sweeden, and Norway. I've traveled in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New York, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado, Nevada, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, Arizona, Virginia, Washington D.C., and Texas. Jalopies, hitchhiking, hobo-ing on box cars, buses and Bolivian produce trucks... I went to college in Alberta, Canada. While performing in Latin America for nine years, I traveled extensively through Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, and Puerto Rico. Performances took me to Alaska, Hawaii, The Bahamas, St. John, St. Thomas, St. Lucia, Guadalupe, St. Martin, Barbados, Aruba, and Panama.
