Music notation of a harmonica riff prepared by Jerry Michelsen for a song by Albert Colloins entitled I Ain't Drunk. The music explains details with diagrams.

who i teach harmonica lessons

My students are retirees and four year olds. They're tweens and college students, moms or dads who always wanted to play harmonica, beginners of all ages, and professional musicians who want to add an instrument, like rock keyboard players or guitarists. Some of my students are teachers. Some are pro performers. But most are people with not much time to practice, who love music and play for their own enjoyment. If you've been putting off starting to play harmonica, jump in, you'll be jamming from the first lesson.

And about taking lessons... The harmonica is a real instrument, like the saxophone. Most good sax players have taken lessons, for instance. The hard work, you can do on your own for free. But to speed your learning from the internet and books, one or two lessons can go a long way. Sure, it's small and you can stick a harp in your pocket but the harmonica still deserves serious musical consideration to play it well.

I welcome BEGINNERS OF ALL AGES.
